For sale is a CPU/Motherboard/RAM bundle consisting of:

- A delidded (relidded with Conductonaut to be exact) i7 4790K CPU which has also been lapped
- MSI Z87 MPOWER ATX motherboard
- 16GB (2x8GB) Crucial Ballistix Elite DDR3 RAM

The CPU was delidded with der8eur's Delid Die Mate tool and liquid electrical tape was applied to the row of SMD components which run adjacent to the die, to protect from any liquid metal spilling onto them. The IHS was lapped on a pane of glass; being raw copper, there is some tarnishing here and there but nothing unexpected.

Please note The IHS is being held in place by the metal retaining plate on the mobo; it was not re-glued, so do not remove the CPU from its socket unless you plan to re-apply the liquid metal.

If memory serves (pardon the pun!) the RAM overclocked well to 2400MHz with 11-11-11-31 timings at 1.65v (stock is 1866Mhz 9-9-9-27).

The CMOS battery will likely need replacing as recently, settings return to default most of the time at POST. Cosmetically, everything is in good used condition - please see photos to judge for yourself. The I/O shield is present albeit with slight damage to the USB/RJ45 divider, as pictured, and everything will dust blowing off.
