Clinical Specialist MRI Radiographer
We are working with a Private Hospital in the heart of London, that are currently looking for an Radiographer to join their well-renowned imaging team.
This is a Full-time role with the following shift patterns:
37.5 hours/per week - 5 day working pattern (Mon - Fri), with the opportunity to work 3 long days - on-call requirements As a Clinical Specialist MRI Radiographer, your duties will be to:
Provide a professional standard of excellence in MRI services for all patients. Work closely with the Radiologists and Consultants in setting up policies and protocols for all MRI imaging and patient pathways. Adjust and utilise the appropriate sequences tailored to the specific scan requirements, collaborating closely with radiologists to ensure optimal imaging outcomes. identify improvements on an ongoing basis and oversee the implementation of such improvements as agreed with the line manager. Assist with patient bookings and administrative duties where necessary, ensuring verified radiologist reports are delivered in a timely manner. Assist with staff orientation and training of new team members, audits and QA. Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, scan protocols, and equipment maintenance records. What they need from you:
HCPC registered. Degree within Radiography. Extensive experience working within MRI, either as a Band 6 or Band 7 equivalent. In-depth knowledge of processes and procedures within MRI scanning. In-depth knowledge of MRI safety on patients with implants. Experience working with Siemens MRI scanners.
