Job title: CNC Millers and CNC Turners

We're looking for talented Skilled CNC Machinists/ CNC Millers CNC Turners and CNC or Manual Grinder Setter/ Operators to work for our client in Southport and we are looking for candidates who possess demonstrable experience of CNC Milling, CNC Turning and Conventional Grinding including Cylindrical/ Surface Grinding machinery.

The client would ideally like to prefer candidates who are multi- skilled and can cover different departments including machining, quality and despatch to alllow smooth transition during busy times and the holiday period.

Experienced CNC Millers for the day shift is the current priority for our client.

Basic salary: Rates of pay are determined on experience and skillset, the more skilled the higher the basic rate of pay. Working hours: The options available are: Shift pattern 1: Monday- Thursday 7.30am until 4.15pm and Fridays are an early finish on a Friday, working 7:30am- 12:30pm. 37 hours per week, Shift pattern 2: Monday- Thursday 4pm- 1:45am. 36 hours per week. First part of the shift paid at a 15% uplift with the second part paid at 33% uplift. Regular overtime available on Sundays, on the same shift. Shift pattern 3: Friday- Sunday 6am- 6pm- Working 34.5 hours per week, any hours after midday on Friday are paid at 50% uplift. Start date: ASAP In addition, they have a huge order book and plenty overtime is available, if you are interested.

The Role:

As the Skilled CNC Machinist/ CNC Millers CNC Turners and CNC or Manual Grinders, you will be primarily responsible for setting and operating CNC Milling ( horizontal and vertical), turning or grinding machinery.

In the job, you'll be tasked with the following: Health and safety of yourself and others Producing high quality components to exacting standards Reading and understanding engineering drawings Setting and running parts to planned time Continuous improvement of methods and working practices High housekeeping standards The Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this Skilled CNC Machinist/ CNC Millers CNC Turners and CNC or Manual Grinders will have relevant experience of setting and operating CNC machines under minimal supervision.

You'll will ideally possess experience of using Mazatrol, Fanuc or Heidenhain CNC control systems and it's preferable that you've got experience of operating machinery in a precision engineering environment.

In addition, you'll need the following: Ideally be time served background in milling, turning or grinding ( desirable) Must be able to work alone and use their initiative Excellent problem-solving skills Attitude is key, they're looking for someone with a strong work ethic who is keen to learn and be a team player Does that sound like you?
