Clinical Support Workers provide essential assistance to registered healthcare professionals, supporting the delivery of high-quality care to patients. They perform a range of clinical and non-clinical tasks, contributing to the effective functioning of healthcare services and enhancing patient experience and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:*
1. *Patient Care:*
- Assist patients with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting.
- Support patients with mobility and physical exercises, including the use of mobility aids.
- Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse) and report any abnormalities.
2. *Clinical Assistance:*
- Assist with medical procedures and treatments as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Prepare and maintain clinical environments, ensuring rooms and equipment are clean and ready for use.
- Collect, label, and transport specimens for laboratory testing.
3. *Communication and Documentation:*
- Accurately document patient care activities and observations in medical records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team.
- Report any changes in patient condition or concerns to the supervising nurse or clinician.
4. *Support Services:*
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in patient areas, including bed-making and tidying up.
- Ensure medical supplies and equipment are adequately stocked and functional.
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to patients, ensuring dietary needs are met.
5. *Patient Advocacy:*

Qualifications:*
