Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for a Tekla & 2D Designer with a background in nuclear or defence, to be engaged on a staff basis and located in Bridgwater.

Key responsibilities will be:

Producing steelwork platform designs compliant with the Eurocode3, ETC-C and Edvance internal guidance'sLiaising with the building layout and Civil teams to coordinate the designMaintaining Edvance's QA procedures in delivering the SW designWorking with the SW engineers in the preparation of the design drawings/modelsReporting progression in team meetings

Qualifications:

Design office experienceKnowledge and understanding of relevant Health & Safety regulationsExperience in the nuclear sector and plant layout engineering would be advantageousKnowledge of 3D tools, and capability to produce high quality 2D drawingsPrevious experience in SW designExperience of dealing with design and layout constraints
