Hi, I’m Sarah an enthusiastic and dedicated linguist and educator!

As a fully qualified teacher from the UK with a BA in Modern Languages and an MA in Translation and Interpreting Studies, I have 8 years experience tutoring French and Spanish to students preparing for GCSE examinations in line with AQA, iGCSE & GCSE Edexcel exam boards. Alongside tutoring, I have been working as an MFL teacher at a top independent school in Manchester.

My philosophy is that each student is unique and requires a stimulating educational environment to reach their full potential. I use an immersive language approach in language lessons so that students are active in their learning process and can apply reading, listening, writing and speaking skills as much as possible, to develop fluency.

The first lesson is a chance for me to get to know my student and assess their strengths and areas for improvement. This information allows me to custom my lesson plans to the individual needs of the student. All lessons materials are provided by me and are shared with the student on an interactive learning platform.

Lessons are £40/ph.
