Looking to enhance your musical skills, start composing, or just learn something new? My name is Isabel and I offer lessons tailored to your specific musical and academic goals, following an effective syllabus that is engaging, challenging but also fun!

ABOUT ME
I am a professional pianist based in London with 10 years of piano teaching experience. I am also a music composer and electronic music producer that welcomes students who want to learn how to write and produce their own music as well.

I have experience teaching students of all ages and levels from all over the world and am available to teach students at my place in Hackney, at the student's place or online.

ADULT STUDENTS
The idea that only kids can learn a new instrument or that kids learn faster is a complete myth! I love teaching adults and have helped many adult students (even complete beginners) make incredible progress and go on to play piano at a very high level. I have a specific syllabus that is tailored to adults and designed to make learning very smooth and enjoyable. If playing the piano is something you've always wanted to do, it's never too late! I also offer flexibility with lesson slot times as I understand it can be hard as a working adult to commit to the same time slot every week.

WHAT WILL LESSONS BE LIKE?
I start by getting to know you and what you'd like to get out of playing the piano. All students have their own tastes, needs, pace and style and I aim to tailor each lesson to the your unique flow. Together with the your input, I determines the best route of action - what books to use, what exercises to try and how long the lessons should be.

THINKING OF TAKING EXAMS?
I specialise in Classical music and can also prepare you for ABRSM exams, my students have a 100% pass rate! Taking exams is entirely the student's choice and I will not push any student to do it unless it's something they really want to do! If you'd like to play for pure enjoyment without the pressure of exams, I am happy to take you on that journey. I ensures my lessons are fun and approachable!
