I earned my PhD from Imperial College in 2010 in chemistry after achieving 1st class honours in my master’s degree. After graduating, I began my career as a professional tutor and gained face-to-face and online tuition experience. My passion for teaching and love to share my knowledge with children made me join full-time education as a school science teacher in 2015, after obtaining my Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) from Kingston University.
I am an enthusiastic, energetic and highly academic school science teacher and GCSE and A-level examiner. As an expert in my subject area, I possess a strong understanding of the curriculum and ensure engaging lessons with positive learning outcomes. Furthermore, my pedagogical abilities enable me to motivate my students by using a tailored teaching style for each child according to their strengths and weaknesses.
My experience is reflected in a proven track record of outstanding exam outcomes for a very large number of GCSE and A-level students. Having worked in a school environment and as a professional tutor, I have successfully developed and implemented a variety of teaching and examination techniques to promote outstanding learning progress for all ability groups. To ensure excellent results I constantly keep track of students’ progress and provide parents with professional and realistic feedback.
